The Lightning is a refined lightweight backpack for multi-day 'Fast & Light' adventures, offering a high level of carrying comfort with plenty of freedom of movement.

The weight-saving roll closure of the top loader allows you to expand the main compartment, which can accommodate additional gear if required. The back system with best load transfer has been tested and optimized over years in terms of comfort, ventilation, high freedom of movement in the hip and upper body area as well as quick height adjustment. Side pockets made of elastic fabric hold water bottle, trekking or tent poles. Elastic zippered pockets on the hip belt and weatherproof zippered pocket in the top of the pack store small items for quick access. Side zig-zag compression straps and a strap that runs across the pack with quick-release hooks keep things in place. You can customize the full-featured carrying system with minimal contact points. Valuables are safely stored in the inner mesh pocket. The hydration tube can be attached on the left or right. If you use the Lightning for mountaineering, you can attach ice tools and other equipment to the loops and the central daisy chain. The removable upper compression strap with aluminum hooks can be used to compress the pack or secure gear such as rope or rain gear when not in use. The ingenious comfort carrying system is height adjustable in a flash and offers a top climate thanks to minimized contact areas
