Classic camping does not fit your lifestyle? How about glamping, the combination of the English words "glamour" and "camping" - and a luxurious alternative to the "normal" camping vacation on a campsite. The idea: to be close to nature - without sacrificing comfort. Instead of sleeping bags, gas stoves and garden hose showers, there are beds, blankets, running water and electricity. Brand new is the tree house hotel in Denmark, located on the Mariagerfjord in the north between Aalborg and Aarhus. It was designed by architect Sigurd Larsen, who perfectly adapted the nine cabins, which are located under the treetops, to the surroundings. Showers are taken outside in the open air, and large terraces invite guests to linger in nature.

Glamping Resort Biosphere Bliesgau

If you want to glamp, you don't have to go far abroad. Within Germany there are many great places, such as the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Bliesgau in the border triangle in Saarland.
