The backpacks, the bags and the accessories of the Black Square collection are made of open-pore leather from Tuscany, tanned with vegetable tannins. The irregular appearance is the result of a unique artisanal process, the washing, which preserves all the warmth and fascination of the natural and uncoated leather. After tanning, experienced hands place the leather in large basins filled with water that contain no chemicals. Then the leather is dried in the drums and finally spread out so that its fibres can relax. In this way, and through the experience of the patient master tanners, the leather acquires its different appearance in terms of shades, grain and softness, which make each piece in the Black Square collection an exclusive and unique piece.
