Battery Act - Important Information on Disposal
As retailers, we are obliged under the German Battery Act (BattG) to inform you about the legal regulations for the disposal of batteries and accumulators.
🔋 Disposal & Return Obligation
Batteries and accumulators must not be disposed of with household waste. Every consumer is required to return old batteries properly. You can dispose of batteries and accumulators free of charge at the following locations:
- At public collection points in your community
- In sales outlets for batteries and accumulators
- Directly with us – send your used batteries to:

⚠️ Marking of Batteries Containing Hazardous Substances
Batteries containing hazardous substances are marked with a crossed-out wheeled bin symbol. Additionally, the following chemical symbols may indicate:
- Cd – contains Cadmium
- Hg – contains Mercury
- Pb – contains Lead
