Battery Act – Important Information on Disposal
As a retailer, we are obliged under the German Battery Ordinance (BattG) to inform you about the legal regulations for the disposal of batteries and accumulators.
🔋 Disposal & Return Obligation
Batteries and accumulators must not be disposed of in household waste. Every consumer is required to properly return old batteries. You can return batteries and accumulators free of charge at the following locations:
- At public collection points in your community
- In retail outlets for batteries and accumulators
- Directly to us – send your used batteries to:

⚠️ Labeling of Batteries Containing Harmful Substances
Batteries containing harmful substances are marked with a crossed-out trash can symbol. Additionally, the following chemical symbols may indicate this:
- Cd – contains cadmium
- Hg – contains mercury
- Pb – contains lead
