The Mountain Pro 40 is the classic among the EXPED backpacks. This purist, weatherproof all-rounder offers enough space for multi-day alpine tours in summer and winter. The single-chamber backpack was developed in collaboration with mountain guides who particularly appreciate the absence of unnecessary details. This is why numerous features can be removed, saving up to 400g in weight. Depending on the load, the lid pocket can be attached either with a central carabiner or two side straps. Four universal webbing straps on the inside and five practical daisy chains on the outside offer attachment options for equipment. The weatherproof, seam-sealed material with a 3000 mm water column protects against moisture. Thanks to the optimized packsack shape and close fit, freedom of movement is guaranteed during any activity. The anatomically cut and padded shoulder straps also ensure a high level of comfort.
