The additional 3 cm depth compared to the standard carry-on 55x40x20 provides significantly more packing volume – perfect for multi-day business trips.
Is the difference worth it?
Yes! 3 cm more depth means approximately 5-8 liters more volume in a standard trolley. Many manufacturers offer their cabin trolleys in both variants: 55x40x20 (slim) and 55x40x23 (expandable). A 55x40x23 suitcase is the best choice if you primarily fly with Lufthansa, Swiss, or Eurowings.
Attention: Not allowed everywhere
