Why 45x36x20 cm?
EasyJet allows a luggage piece of up to 45x36x20 cm without an additional fee. This is slightly larger than carry-on 40x30x20 (Ryanair), but significantly smaller than the standard cabin size carry-on 55x40x20. Frequent EasyJet flyers save the additional fee for large carry-on with a suitable underseater.
